I've been making sawdust for over forty years — but I'll be honest with you, I don't do boring.

I'm a contemporary artisan working in wood and mixed media, and the things I love making tend to be a little abstract, a little whimsical. Distinctive. Atypical. Just plain different.

I build heirloom furniture made to outlive me, I teach the craft the way I wish somebody had taught me, and I put it all up on YouTube every single week. If you've got something interesting and challenging in mind — the kind of piece nobody else wants to touch — that's exactly the kind of thing I want to build.
